      <image:title>About</image:title>
<image:caption>Karina Culbertson, LMFT #137574 All it takes is a little bit of adulting to realize that right about when we think we have it all together, life throws us a curveball. These instances can leave us feeling stuck – stuck in unhealthy patterns and behaviors, in feelings of anxiety or depression, and even in relational conflicts that seem impossible. For some, it’s balancing the demands of parenthood or a job situation that feels like it’s heading toward burnout. For others, it might be relationships that seem to lack boundaries and healthy expectations. However, here’s a glimmer of hope…you have the ability to move beyond “just surviving” and toward a place where you can truly thrive. I received my bachelor’s degree in English with my teaching credential from California State University, Northridge. After ten years as a high school teacher (and my own internal struggles with what my life was “supposed” to look like), I pivoted and earned a master’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from University of Phoenix. I am currently a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#137574). When I am not practicing therapy, you can find me attempting to practice yoga (keyword: attempting), trying to get my kids to eat something other than chicken nuggets, or re-watching episodes of The Sopranos. Life is challenging. You don’t have to be on this journey alone. Email — LinkedIn — Interior Design Firm</image:caption>
